And the different news is that I can't tell you what I was going to tell you until they tell it first!
Which won't be happening today.
But just to make it interesting, I'll be more than happy to play bookie if anyone cares to make a little wager. I'll pay out 10:1 if you can guess it.
I'll even give you a hint: I was invited to tea, but Carson wouldn't let me in and treated me like I was Edith!
So I finally left to go find Rahab and the rest of the harlots.
(We'll just go to tea at Mrs. Crawley's house - she'll overlook our wanton ways, by jove!)
There's that grin again.
How about this, instead? I would like to ask y'all a few questions pertaining to some features I once had on ye ol' blog here and see if anybody would be interested in seeing their return.
- The Wednesday Wonder
- Blog Morsels (card kits for the randomly chosen person who nominates the card maker who inspires her the most - who gets an identical kit)
- Oh, and I have a totally new idea that I've been wanting to do ever since I was a Win-A-Day-on-the-Hero-Arts-Blog winner. But I'll need some victims - er - I mean, volunteers for that one.
Thanks for stopping and have a blessed day!
Deborah

You are such a tease!! have you purchased Downton Abbey??? Can I be the dowager?? Is there a craft room?
I always enjoyed the Wednesday Wonder; Your creative mind comes up with very interesting features, Deborah! Whatever you do is fun and interesting for the rest of us. I LOVE your videos!!

Hmmmm, let's see, what could it be, what could it be? I want those odds! :)
P.S. I just started watching Downton Abbey last night and now I'm totally hooked! Can't wait to have time to sit down and watch more.

I'll take your odds... One card from me for 10 of yours? You are a new member of the Skipping Stones DT - the Stamp Tramps? (a long shot, I know, but I could not resist the play on words)

I have no clue! But I am sure it is fun!

You all make me laugh! Ah, yes, Downton Abbey - my favorite time period is the late Edwardian - just ending when DA starts in Season 1. The clothes, the way of life (for the wealthy, anyway), the architecture and artists...
But mainly it's the hats that are killing me! I should have been one of the manor born back then! I would have been so fetching in those hats! If they don't make a coffee table book featuring those hats, I may have to throw myself under a carriage!
Linda, is IS fun - hee-hee!
Maria, that sounds like a great name for a challenge blog: THE STAMP TRAMPS... (that or a questionable USPS all-girl band).
Lisa, make sure you start with Season 1 - and definitely announce to anyone and everyone you meet before conversation starts that you have not seen Season 3's beginning or ending. Your friends will know to shut up. If you meet an enemy, I suggest you run away with your fingers in your ears, screaming, "La-la-la-la-la-la-la!" as loud as you can.)
Judy, Judy, Judy! If only I could live in Downton Abby (where they probably spend all of their time in an apartment of four small rooms to avoid the incredible drafts that must prevail)! Yes, you can be the Dowager from nine til six in the evening, and then I get to be her - Maggie Smith always manages to get the best lines!
Okay so we have a vote for the WW, and a bravo for the videos, abstentia on all other counts. This is a tough crowd!
Thank you for the G+1 clicks, y'all!

And just WHO turned on that nasty little thingie that makes you type out the wonky letters?! I am leaving Typepad soon, I swear it! *shaking fist in futile fury*

I say yes to all three suggestions, I'm kind of new to your blog (I have never seen WW) but coming from you I'm sure everyhting is good. Can you give us some more clues about the news?

and PS... I loved your Wednesday Wonder feature when I went back and read some older posts (I'm a relatively new follower). The Blog Morsels sounds like a lot of fun, and I've no doubt your spin on the third option would be great.
Now I'm off to have a cuppa and "troll" the internet for more clues as to your big announcement. See how I did that? :)
