Hi Deborah! I'm new here but first, I hope you continue to recover so you can keep on crafting and writing your blog!

I found you through the opening page of Pinterest when I clicked to the link for you about a DIY stamp cleaner. Does your recipe work for STAZON ink, too? I have stayed away from the permanent inks before because I did not want to have to start buying a stamp cleaner (mainly - because the ingredients were NOT listed and I thought it was too spendy if it was mostly water!).

That little bird was made for coloring, for sure.

Hi, Betty, thanks!!!

Hi, Mary!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving a comment!

The stamp cleaner I make appears to work on all the inks I use. It's fairly gentle because there is no alcohol in it.

I do not recommending cleaning clear stamps with Staz-On ink remover - it's a fairly harsh cleanser, and many stampers have reported that it destroyed their clear stamps.

Staz-On and some other kinds of ink will permanently discolor your stamps (especially the clear ones), but this is not cause permanent damage. Even if a clear stamp looks black after cleaning, it's usually not because of residual ink. After cleaning, test it on a scrap of paper - a sure way to discover if there is any lingering ink.

I hope that answered your question!

Thanks again for visiting and leaving a comment!
