I must be on a roll - this will be my second Caardvarks challenge (in a row, even!) that I actually managed to attack before the deadline!!!
The challenge was to color something. Luckily, I just received the cutest stamp ever from The Greeting Farm, and after I made this little project, I decided I liked it much better than what I had already made for a private ornament exchange. Sooooo, I went ahead and made a dozen of these puppies.
I am now very tired.
You can't see the Spica pen's magic very well here, sadly. However, in person, the snowflakes in the background have a lovely, delicate Spica-shimmer that catches the light quite nicely.(I also added some Spica eye shadow that's very bewitching and only a little tart-y.)
- Spica pens are awesome, and
- The woman at the store who said I would have no trouble cutting Grungeboard with a Nestie on my Cuttlebug was a big fat liar.
MATERIALS:
Stamps: Hero Arts S5069, CL232, The Greeting Farm - Wild Sprout Vivi; ink: Memento, Fresco; Pens: Spica, Signo white, Signo silver, Copics; Gems: Michael's; Fibers: unknown ribbon and yarn*; Other: Stickles.
*The ornament is a sandwich of paper. The front is as you see, the middle is a piece of Grungeboard, and the back (unseen) is embossed card stock (I used the snowflake embossing folder on it). After I glued the three together, I wrapped yarn around the outer edge to give it a nice finish.
Thanks for looking!!!
So Dang cute and Wonderful...Love this Deborah!! Just Perfect.....

Adorable tag!! Yep, grungeboard is not so easy to cut with the CB and nesties - had to make this experience, too! Your colouring is amazing!
