In May we had participants from Canada, Croatia, Denmark, England, France, Germany, , Indonesia, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, (NEW!!!) Slovenia, (NEW!!!) Switzerland, and the United States! If we add in past participating countries Australia, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, and Mauritius, we're now up to 19 countries represented thus far!
Only 174 countries to go before we get complete global participation!!! (Of course, we're still working on the alphabet, too, so participants from countries beginning in K, L, O, Q, R, T, U, V, W, X, Y, and Z are especially welcome!!!)
NEWS FLASH! I have recently remembered that Vatican City is a country, and we're going to have a real challenge on our hands to get that country to participate - do priests craft? Do any of the workers have citizenship in VC? Do they craft?! Anybody that can figure out a way to get one of their citizens to play will get a very special reward!!!
And just for the record, we've had 67 people participate thus far! Yessirree, Bob! We're shrinking the globe one card at a time!!!
Everybody gets a hand-crafted card so everybody wins!
You also post the card you receive in the online gallery of your choice, and I will post these blog/gallery addresses on my blog along with a picture of the card. Everybody gets increased visibility and/or blog traffic, so everybody wins!
The whole process is fairly straightforward, so the chances of my screwing up are minimal. Everybody - except me - avoids administrative duties, so everybody wins!
