It's the last Friday in October, so that means it's time to sign up for the November Card Chain Challenge (CCC)!
In October we had 36 participants hailing from 14 countries: Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Indonesia, Ireland, Mauritius, New Zealand, Norway, South Africa (NEW!), Switzerland, and the United States.
For anyone new to the CCC, the basic idea is that you receive a fellow cardmaker's snail mail address, make her a card, and send it off. The next person on the list does the same thing with you, and so on. Each person makes a card for the person immediately above her in the chain, and the first person in the chain makes a card for the last person in the chain.
Everybody gets a hand-crafted card so everybody wins!
You also post the card you receive in the online gallery of your choice, and I will post these blog/gallery addresses on my blog along with a picture of the card. Everybody gets increased visibility and/or blog traffic, so everybody wins!
The whole process is fairly straightforward, so the chances of my screwing up are minimal. Everybody - except me - avoids administrative duties, so everybody wins!
Please click here to read Eligibility, Guidelines & FAQ's
You can use as many of the following options as you like, but you're only required to use one of them.
Note: the colors and names are a guide, so no need for a perfect match.
(You also don't need to use all of them.)
World Kindness Day OR
Mr. Linky sign-up ends at 11:59 p.m., EST, Monday, November 1, 2010.
If this is your first CCC, please send your email and snail mail and a link to one of your online photo galleries to:
If you have any questions, please email me or leave a comment. Also please check out the FAQ post.
I hope you'll consider trying this. Feel free to ask those who've participated thus far: it's thrilling to open your mailbox and find a handmade card (especially when it's got foreign stamps on it)!
Don't forget to check out the October results!
They will be posted on Monday, November 1, 2010.
Feast on eye candy while you feast on your kid's Halloween candy
(it's kinda like dinner theatre....)
Please let me introduce myself, my name is Susan and I live in New Zealand. I would like to participate in your challenge
This will be my first time.

This looks like fun. My first time too, Deborah.
I'm Julie and I live in the Pacific NW (US). I have an Etsy shop that I make cards and things for but also like to dabble just for the fun of it.
I found out about this challenge on the Hero Arts Flickr site. Looking forward to joining in the fun (and getting something besides bills in my mailbox!). :)
