Just when you thought there was nothing but cold and the grey skies of winter... 47 women take matters into their own hands and bring it ON! That's right. Yep. You read that correctly.
47 WOMEN!
We're all so awesome, I can hardly stand it! (This is a record number of participants, and I've been shaking in my shoes for the last month terrified I'd mess it all up, but I think we made it.)
In addition, we have now officially broken the 100 mark - exactly ONE HUNDRED women from around the globe have participated in this monthly card exchange program, and almost all of them have been repeat offenders!
(If you're new to the Card Chain Challenge ("CCC") this is an event where everybody wins. Basically, you make a card for the person above you on the chain and you receive a card from the person below you on the chain. It's a personalized swap, sort of, and it's a ton of fun! Go here for past Chains and here to read the Guidelines.)
January had the following challenge options (you could use as many of the following options as you wanted, but you were only required to use one of them):3 Challenge Options

(HINT: If you're reading this and have never participated, please consider doing so. And if you see that your country or state has never been represented, you are honor-bound to sign up and show that y'all are friendly and interested in building global peace - and your stamp collection - one card at a time!
The countries represented this time were: Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Holland (*NEW!*), Indonesia, Ireland, Mauritius, New Zealand, The Netherlands (*NEW!*), Norway, The Philippines, Switzerland, and the United States (Alabama, California, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin).
Past participants have hailed from: Belgium, Croatia, Hong Kong, Japan, Slovenia, and South Africa. (We only need to get some countries that begin with K, L, O, Q, R, T, U, V, W, X, Y, and Z to keep up with our alphabet list! We have 171 countries to go before we have total global participation!!!
As for the USA, past participants include: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Hawaii, New Hampshire, and New Mexico. BUT! We're still missing: Connecticut, both the Dakota's, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

Katie's card to Jane (the first one on the list) seems to be AWOL. I tried refreshing the page but it's still not showing up. Not sure if it's just me...
Gorgeous cards - and so many participants, too!
Thank you so much for hosting this wonderful exchange, Deborah!

What a lot of beautiful cards! It's so fun this CCC. Must find some time to play again. I've seen that Mariette has already mentioned it but indeed Holland and The Netherlands is the same. I know because it's a neighbor of Belgium.
