March 2013 Card Chain Challenge Reveal

Hello and welcome to the March, 2013, Card Chain Challenge Reveal!  

March's CCC had 14 participants who made some great cards using the following challenge options (you could use as many of the following options as you wanted, but you were only required to use one of them):

Who's Been Playing

(If you're reading this and have never participated, please consider doing so. And if you see that your country or state has never been represented, you are honor-bound to sign up and show that y'all are friendly and interested in building global peace - and your stamp collection - one card at a time!)

So far we've had over 942 cards in this little jaunt - most of whom are regulars. And where do they come from? Read on....

Past participants have hailed from: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain (aka: England), Greece, Holland (aka: The Netherlands), Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, Mauritius, New Zealand, Norway, The Philippines, Scotland, Singapore, Slovenia, Switzerland, South Africa. (We only need to get some countries that begin with K, L, O, Q, R, T, U, V, W, X, Y, and Z to keep up with our alphabet list! We have 166 countries to go before we have total global participation!!!

As for the USA, past participants include: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin. We're still missing: Connecticut, both the Dakota's, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

(If you're new to the Card Chain Challenge ("CCC") this is an event where everybody wins. Basically, you make a card for the person above you on the chain and you receive a card from the person below you on the chain. It's a personalized swap, sort of, and it's a ton of fun! Go here for past Chains.

Lovely to see all the cards! Deborah, the card I got from Ava was the "Friends are lifetime treasures" with the flowers.

Beautiful cards, Deborah! It's such a privilege to send and receive hand made cards from around the world. I have a "small world" story.

My husband and I went to a different branch of the library than we usually do. I left the building before my husband who was putting some books on reserve. I was in the car when my husband came out and said "the librarian asked if I was married to Judy Jung. I said I was and she said she follows your blog."

Well, I had to meet the rare living human who follows my blog! And there she was , Loly, who lives in Huntsville, works at the library and knows about and follows my blog!! And she mentioned that she follows the blog of Deborah Nolan!! An amazing day!!

Thank you for being the means to "hook up" with fellow stampers and bloggers!!
