The Lady Edith on Downton Abbey has certainly gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to inheriting the family's charisma gene, don't you think? She also has the least charming of costumes, but here's one I liked quite a bit:
I love the simple yet beautiful embroidery that embellishes her bodice, so I started looking through my stash for something comparable. Here's my take:

- Create card base.
- Adhere panel of patterned paper.
- Die cut and adhere chains and floral border.
- Die cut banner and stamp sentiment.
- Score banner and adhere.
- Adhere gems.

Use a fine point glue "pen" on delicate die-cuts such as these.

I always like Lady Edith best. I am the oldest in the family. She is the middle one, with all the attendant bad luck.
I admire your eye, Deborah. And your facility to takr inspiration the way you do!
