Hello and welcome to the 2013 April Card Chain Challenge Reveal!
I have some interesting news to report! I had lost track of my original CCC card numbers because of some sloppy filing, but I was cleaning up my computer folders... and I found 'em! So instead of us having a paltry 960 cards exchanged since we started, we have over 1,023! (This doesn't count the multiple cards people sometimes send. Anybody remember when Paula got on a roll and made her recipient FIVE cards one month? LOL - good times!) The only bad thing about finding out this news is that I missed the chance to celebrate passing the 1,000 mark when it actually occured in March.
So I'm announcing it now:
We've mailed over 1,000 cards through the CCC!
Wooo-whooooo!
I don't know about you, but I feel extremely gratified right now. It makes me feel very good to have contributed something handmade and personal to somebody's mailbox in a time when there's usually nothing in there but bills and ads and other impersonal wastes of paper. I really like knowing I made somebody's day a little brighter by sending them a paper hug. So thank you, ladies, for joining with me in this experience because there's no way I could do it without you!
April's CCC had 18 participants who made some wonderful cards using the following challenge options (you could use as many of the following options as you wanted, but you were only required to use one of them):
Color Palette
OR
One of the following themes/products: umbrellas or dogs or friends or one of the following products: water
And here they are... the April, 2013, CCC's!!!

(If you're new to the Card Chain Challenge ("CCC") this is an event where everybody wins. Basically, you make a card for the person above you on the chain and you receive a card from the person below you on the chain. It's a personalized swap, sort of, and it's a ton of fun! Go here for past Chains.

What a terrific collection this month! Good thing I didn't see them first or I might not have mailed mine--so inspired by you talented people!
