Hello, Stampers!
It's my day to post on the Memory Box Design Team blog, Outside the Box (my post will go live at 3:00 p.m. as Marnie has the early bird shift - lol)!
Today's card features one of the new stencils, two of the new dies, a favorite stamp, and some of the Viola 6x6 patterned paper that I've been hoarding.

Memory Box dies (Oriel Butterfly, Bamboo Leaves), stencil (Texture Honeycomb), stamp (Filled With Love), and 6x6 patterned paper (Viola collection); Inks: Black Onyx (VersaFine), Mowed Grass, Peacock Feathers, Peeled Paint, Pine Needles, Shabby Shutters (Ranger); Accents: sequins (Cartwright), gems (Mark Richards); Tools color dusters (Judikins); Other: foam dimensional squares

Use two pieces of low-tack tape to adhere your cardstock to your craft sheet, then tape the stencil over the panel. This will prevent slippage. Because some of the stencil cut-aways are so delicate, you can inadvertently bend or tear them by dragging a foam ink applicator across them. I prefer to pounce the ink onto the cardstock via color dusters (picture an old-fashioned shaving brush but much smaller). Dusters don't pull at the stencil and you also get sharp, tiny dots of color. The photo doesn't show it very well, but you get a really great pointalism effect!
Thanks for stopping and have a blessed day!Deborah
