Welcome to my blog, Gentle Readers, and thank you for visiting!
After commenting in an earlier post that I was not all that into cutesy stamps, I feel I should offer a retraction - lol! Or, rather, a restatement. I have no issue with cute stamps, in general, but I'm discriminating to the extreme concerning the style of the artist who drew the design that became the stamp.
When it comes to images I'm going to color, my favorites are drawn by the three artists who design for Lawn Fawn, Lili of the Valley, and Paper Smooches. This is not to say that other stamp companies don't produce images I like to color as well. Hero Arts, Penny Black, and Purple Onion Designs, for example, also produce images I like to color, but they have multiple artists, and I'm not always drawn to some of those artists' styles.
Here's the card I made for Pat in Virginia for the February Card Chain Challenge. I don't know the artist's name, but I enjoy the whimsical images she draws for Lawn Fawn! (Her style is so distinct that anyone with even a mildy discerning eye can spot one of her images and immediately declare it a Lawn Fawn stamp.)
