Hey, there!
Thank you so much for popping in to see what I've put together today. It's my turn to post on the Memory Box Design Team blog, Outside the Box.
Given how difficult it is for most of us to make masculine cards, I'm always pleased when a new product makes that task easier, and If there is one thing of which I'm COGnizant, it's how cool the new Gearworks Border and Mini Gears dies are for just that purpose!
(Please forgive me - I just couldn't help myself.)
In addition to the new dies mentioned above, I used one of the heart dies from the Owl Heart Set and some letters from the Parker Upper Case Alphabet die set. (I was forced to take a picture of my card at night, so my apologies for the photo quality.)
This card is deceptively intricate. It looks like it took a long time, but this thing flew together pretty quickly. I chose to use metallic, shimmering cardstock because cogs are typically made of metal, but any color paper would work.
Can you believe the detail on those cogs?! Dave is the Wild Man of Die Design!

P.S. Have I got some fun news... and if I ever get some time to myself, I'll share it. Counting the days until the semester ends... May 10 is D-Day!
Love the card and all the metallic gears.
