It's my day to post on the Memory Box Design Team blog, Outside the Box!
Today's card features the new Row of Poppies die and a sentiment from my favorite new PoppyStamps clear stamp set Hope and Thanks. I love these bright colors and the contrast!

- Make 3.5" x 5" card base.
- Cut panel of card stock and adhere to card.
- Die cut Row of Poppies from white card stock and adhere.
- Die cut two small butterflies and apply ink with foam tool (lightest color in the center, getting gradually darker as you reach the edges).
- Adhere butterflies with glue dots and adhere small gems.
- Layer inks on sentiment stamp and impress on white card stock. (Or see TIP below.)
- Trim sentiment (centered) to .5" x 4.5" and cut ends to banner points.
- Score approximately .75" and 1" from each end, bend on score lines and add piece of foam dimensional tape to center of banner; adhere to card.
I recently purchased a MISTI, and one of the things I love the most is that now I can confidently re-stamp a sentiment without messing it up. (Can I get an amen?!) To get a graded effect, stamp your sentiment three times. First cover the entire stamp with the lightest ink. Then ink the bottom 2/3 of your stamp with the medium ink color and re-stamp the sentiment. Finally, ink the bottom 1/3 of the stamp with the darkest ink and re-stamp the sentiment.
Thanks for stopping and have a blessed day!
Deborah
Fantastic card! Hard to go wrong with ANY Memory Box or Poppy Stamp dies, they are always a favorite!
PS: I had the pleasure ot meeting Dave and his family when they traveled across country! He taught a class at my LSS and was wonderful. Also enjoyed meeting his wife and the kids, who were great! They were just about to launch Poppy Stamps and I think it's awesome that it's such a success!!
