Hello, Stampers!
It's my day to post on the Memory Box Design Team blog, Outside the Box!
Today I decided to have a little fun and take some liberties with nature! I hadn't used our pipe dies yet, and our focus this month at Outside the Box is butterflies. (These two don't tend to be natural partners... unless you take some poetic license, that is - LOL!) I tried my hand at drawing "fuzzy" caterpillars (just in case you were wondering about those green things).

Memory Box dies (Large Steampunk Pipes, Medium Steampunk Pipes, Small Steampunk Pipes, Cascadia Butterfly Trio, Isabella Butterfly), 6x6 patterned paper (Jubilee collection); Inks: Distress Festive Berries (Ranger); Accents: gems (Mark Richards)
T I P
Die cut all of the pipes and pop the cuts out of the cardstock. Use the discards as stencils and trace on a piece of scrap paper to plan your pipe design. Once you're happy, glue the pipes and connectors to one another on top of your sketch to keep the proportions correct, and then transfer the entire thing to your card.

This is a mouth-dropping "outside the box" card.... so darn cute! Love your little caterpillars, too. And I didn't even notice the tip of the 'next' butterfly peaking out of the pipe stack until I enlarged the photo to see those 'fuzzies' better. Well done :)
