Today's card features some products from Jillibean Soup's 2015 Saffron Yellow Pepper Soup collection.
S U P P L I E S
Saffron Yellow Pepper Soup 6" x 6" Patterned Paper and clear stamp set (Jillibean Soup); Cardstock: Simply Chartreuse,Stamper's Select White (PTI); Ink: Enchanted Evening, Canyon Clay, Pure Poppy (PTI); Accents: enamel dot (MME); Other: Spectrum Noir colored pencils, foam dimensional tape; Dies: Fresh Foliage (Memory Box); Tools: paper cutter, scoreboard, bone folder, Vagabond, detail scissors, corner rounder
I N S T R U C T I O N S
- Make a 3.5” x 5” card base and round bottom corners.
- From two patterned papers, cut strips of cardstock .25" x 3.5" and adhere to card front, alternating patterns.
- Stamp flower and color.
- Stamp sentiment.
- Fussy-cut stamp and flower, die cut leaf trio, layer and adhere all three with foam dimensional tape.
- Adhere enamel dot.
T I P
I didn't have an ink that matched the red in the patterned paper, so I stamped the flower first with Clay Canyon and then with Pure Poppy. (I used my MISTI for perfect placement.) The resulting color was a great match! So play around and stamp with different color combos - you never know what great discovery you'll make!
