Hello and welcome to the 2015 November Card Chain Challenge Reveal!
I have some very exciting news... exciting to me, anyway! It's been five years of waiting, but as of this month's challenge, thanks to the fabulous An'Jenic, we can add the grand state of Mississippi to our role of United States participants! (Welcome, An'Jenic!)
It can be argued that the original drive to have every state and country represented has faded since Gigi is now in the 8th grade and my days of teaching her geography are past. However, it's hard for me to let go because I want the Whole Set!
Soooo... if any of y'all know any card makers from Connecticut, South Dakota, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Montana, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, West Virginia, and/or Wyoming, tell 'em to come play! (I'm not leaving out the countries of the world because they don't matter - it's just there's 161 of them to go and this post is already crazy long!)
Okay, let's get to this reveal, shall we? We had 38 participants who exchanged cards across the globe this month using at least one of the following options:

You can orient this sketch in any direction and/or flip it.

As of December 1, 2015, we've exchanged over 1,900 cards in this little jaunt - most of which were made by regular participants. And where do they come from? Read on....
Past participants have hailed from: Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain (aka: England), Greece, Holland (aka: The Netherlands), Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Malaysia, Mauritius, New Zealand, Norway, The Philippines, Portugal, Scotland, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, South Africa. (We only need to get some countries that begin with L, O, Q, R, T, U, V, W, X, Y, and Z to keep up with our alphabet list! We have 161 countries to go before we have total global participation!!!
As for the USA, past participants include: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, (NEW!!!) Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin. We're still missing: Connecticut, South Dakota, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Montana, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
If you're new to the Card Chain Challenge ("CCC") this is an event where everybody wins. Basically, you make a card for the person above you on the chain and you receive a card from the person below you on the chain. It's a personalized swap, sort of, and it's a ton of fun! Go here for past Chains.
Read the Revised Guidelines & FAQ's (revised December, 2015).

It's always so exciting for me to receive the pictures of everyone's cards and put the post together. Although I sometimes put things together with a lick and a promise because life is getting in my way, I love doing the CCC because it gives me the warm and fuzzies to host a forum where so many pretty cards are sent across the globe.
I love watching individual styles develop through the years and hearing about the little extras people sometimes include or how folks come together to send a card to a participant that's hitting a rough patch.... Well, the memory of it is making it hard for me to see my keyboard right now.
What a lovely, caring, and talented bunch of ladies! And what an excellent showing of cards this month!!! Thank you all for giving me so much joy and for having patience when I'm experiencing "technical difficulties" - LOL!

Gail, you are SUCH a cheeky monkey! 😜
(Did my little winking emoticon show up? I'm trying it for the first time in a comment.)
To answer your question about how long it took to make that darned CCC public service announcement... I'm not really sure because I wasn't timing it, but I'd hazard a guess at, say, 30 minutes? (It should have taken no more than five!)
I was almost finished once and then hit the wrong key and lost everything. So I had to start from scratch... and then made the same stupid mistake and lost it all AGAIN. But the third time found me being very careful of where my fingers went and all was saved successfully.
