February 2016 Card Chain Challenge Sign-Up!

Welcome back and happy 2016!

Some women have a signature fragrance and some have a signature jewel. I, apparently, have a signature illness. I started getting sick at the end of term and by December 23rd, it was official: I had walking pneumonia again. I was down and out for the entire Christmas break, but I'm almost recovered. I got an inhaler on Monday to help with a persistent dry cough; once that's fixed, I should be good as new! 

It would seem that my allergies are the root of the problem as I'm allergic to everything, and my lungs are being seriously compromised by the dogs. The doctor has ordered Spouse and Gigi to brush the dogs and vacuum daily (as they promised they would when they first dragged those mutts into our house). So I'm hoping my reign as the the queen of The Big Wheeze will be over soon. 😉

As a design team member for Hampton Art, I get a certain amount of goodies, and I recently received a box that contained many fine things - including this versatile stamp set (which I already own) from Jillybean Soup:

Challenge Directions

Make a card using at least one of the following four options. (You can actually use two, three, or all four options, but you are only required to use one of them.)

Color Palette  

 

These colors are your guideline - exact matching is not necessary.

OR

Sketch

You can orient this sketch in any direction and/or flip it.

OR

One of the following themes: – Flowers  or  St. Patrick's Day  or  Friendship

OR

One of the following products: Floss / Hemp / Cord

 

Sign Up Deadline

You have until Saturday, February 6, 2016, 11:55 p.m., EST, to sign up below and email me a photo of your card (please include a link to your blog/photo gallery). Please sign up using your first name and your state, province or country. EX: Ann in Texas; Betty in Ontario; Cathy in Wales; Darla in Italy.

 

Reveal Post & Winner Announcement

All of the cards with links to their creators' blogs or online photo galleries will be revealed here on Tuesday, March 1, 2016.

Oh, I hope you're on the mend good and proper and the dog hair gets vacuumed as 'said'! Good luck with THAT one. Bad time of the year to get sick :(
