This Month's Winner
This month's prize was a bundle put together by yours truly in honor of the holiday season and the last CCC of the year. I hope the winner enjoys this homemade "kit":
- Simon Says Stamp Winter Warmth stamp set
- 12 pieces of BoBunny 6" x 6" Candy Cane Land patterned paper
- Memory Box Stitched Snowflake Circle Frame die cut
- Memory Box Dazzling Snowdrift Corner die cut
- Memory Box Let it Snow Circle Frame die cut
- Memory Box Dancing Snowflake Frame die cut
- Memory Box snowflake die cuts (from Newbury Ornament Vignette)
- (4) coordinating sets (4 pieces each) of punched snowflake shapes
- 1 yard of seam binding (great for coloring with Copics or spray inks)
- Elizabeth Crafts stickers
- Bazzill chipboard snowflake
- Starfoam Transparent silver glitter stickers (love using these instead of gems for a flat card)
- Memory Box snowflake gem stickers
- Packet of confetti/sequins
- 15 buttons
I randomly drew the winner from a pool of the cardmakers whose cards arrived at their destination by the last day of the month, and the winner is...
Chris in Texas!
Congratulations, Chris! Please send me an email by December 15 so I can hook you up with your prize!
Our Holiday Break & Our Next Challenge
Because December is already crazy-busy with holiday cards, we don't have an exchange in that month. However, the January Card Chain Challenge sign-up begins on Monday, December 7, 2015 (the post link will activate at that time) and closes on Thursday, January 7, 2016, at 11:55 p.m. with cards to be received by January 31st. All cards exchanged in that challenge will be revealed here on February 1, 2016.
If your card arrives at its destination by the last day of January, you'll be eligible to win that month's prize (selected by random draw).
Hope to see you here!
Thanks for stopping and have a blessed day!
Deborah
W H O' S B E E N P L A Y I N G
(If you're reading this and have never participated, please consider doing so. And if you see that your country or state has never been represented, you are honor-bound to sign up and show that y'all are friendly and interested in building global peace - and your stamp collection - one card at a time!)
As of December 1, 2015, we've exchanged over 1,900 cards in this little jaunt - most of which were made by regular participants. And where do they come from? Read on....
Past participants have hailed from: Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain (aka: England), Greece, Holland (aka: The Netherlands), Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Malaysia, Mauritius, New Zealand, Norway, The Philippines, Portugal, Scotland, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, South Africa. (We only need to get some countries that begin with L, O, Q, R, T, U, V, W, X, Y, and Z to keep up with our alphabet list! We have 161 countries to go before we have total global participation!!!
As for the USA, past participants include: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, (NEW!!!) Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin. We're still missing: Connecticut, South Dakota, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Montana, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
If you're new to the Card Chain Challenge ("CCC") this is an event where everybody wins. Basically, you make a card for the person above you on the chain and you receive a card from the person below you on the chain. It's a personalized swap, sort of, and it's a ton of fun! Go here for past Chains.
