Hampton Art Card: Happy Halloween

Halloween is upon us, and I, for one, am already tricked out. The last two weeks have been insane for me, so I've not had a lot of time to post, but I'm hoping to inundate y'all this week!

Today's card features 6" x 6" Witches Brew patterned paper and enamel stars from Jillibean Soup and Hampton Art stamps you can purchase at Michaels. I made this card for my BFF from high school and I had better get it into the mail or it will be past its expiration date by the time it arrives!

 

S  U  P  P  L  I  E  S

Cardstock: Ninah Solar White (card base); Patterned Paper: Witches Brew (Jillibean Soup); Ink: black; Colored Pencils (Spectrum Noir); Embellishments: gems (Mark Richards), enamel stars (Jillibean Soup); Tools: paper cutter, scoreboard, bone folder, corner rounder 

I  N  S  T  R  U  C  T  I  O  N  S

1. Make card base for a 4.25” x 5.5” card.
2. Cut and adhere 4.25” x 5.5” panel of patterned paper.
3. Stamp images on white card panel, color, and adhere.
4. Adhere gems and enamel dots.

T I  P S

1. When you color a cat, don't just go for one color! It's very easy to throw some stripes in there, and it's so much cuter!
2. Remember to draw on some whiskers. (I forgot!!!)

Welcome back, readers!

Today's card uses Halloween treats from Jillibean Soup and stamps from Graphic 45 - all licensed through Hampton Art!

Cardstock: Memory Box; 6" x 6" Patterned Papers: Owloween Stew collection; Accents: Trick or Treat Wood Veneer phrase, Darice googlie eyes; Graphic 45 clear stamps; embossing ink; Platinum and Black Ranger Super Fine Detail embossing powders; Adhesives: Tombo Multi-Glue, Score Tape; Tools: paper cutter, scoreboard, bone folder, heat tool   

I  N  S  T  R  U  C  T  I  O  N  S

1. Make black card base for a 4.25” x 5.5” card.
2. Cut a 4" x 5.25" panel of purple cardstock and adhere to card base.
3. Cut a .25"" x 5.25" stip of patterned paper from Owloween Stew and adhere.
4. Ink spider web with embossing ink and stamp in upper right corner; apply Platinum EP and heat set.
5. Ink spider with embossing ink and stamp; apply Black EP and heat set.
6. Ink wood veneer phrase with embossing ink; apply Platinum EP and heat set.
7. Apply more EP and heat set until you're satisfied with the coverage.
8. Adhere googlie eyes.

I've got a layered card for you today. I don't do these usually because I'm not particularly gifted when it comes to embellishment, but there are so many fun new products from Jillibean Soup I just couldn't help myself!

All products by Jillibean Soup unless otherwise noted. Cardstock: Memory Box; 6" x 6" Patterned Papers: Owloween Stew collection; Pea Pod Parts (die-cuts): Owloween; Chipboard Glitter Alphabet; Accents: Halloween Mini Placemats; Owloween washi tape, enamel star, gems (Recollections); Other: black finepoint pen; Adhesives: foam dimensional dots, Tombo Multi-Glue, Score Tape; Tools: paper cutter, scoreboard, bone folder, corner rounder, Memory Box die.   

 I  N  S  T  R  U  C  T  I  O  N  S

1. Make base for a 4.25” x 5.5” card. 
2. Wrap bottom of card front with washi tape.
3. Cut .25" x 4.25" strip of spider web patterned paper and adhere to bottom edge of washi tape.
4. Cut .15" x 4.25" strip of grid patterned paper and adhere to top of spider web patterned paper strip.
5. Round right corners of card.
6. Cut panel of patterned paper and adhere to back of mini-placemat. 
7. Outline interior of mini-placemat with black pen and adhere to card front at a slight angle.
8. Die cut tree branch and adhere.
9. Cut strips of patterned paper to make "ribbons", cut to a point and adhere to back of cobweb Pea Pod Part; adhere glittery "b" to center of cobweb and adhere entire element to mini-placemat.
10. Adhere rest of the letters.
11. Adhere owl Pea Pod Part with foam dimensional squares and adhere enamel star to hat's center.

T I P

Although I didn't do it here, googlie eyes on this little owl would look terrific!!!

1. Make black card base for a 4.25” x 5.5” card; round right corners of card.
2. Cut a 4.25" x 1.5" panel of star patterned paper from Owloween Stew and adhere to card base;
3. Cut Mini Placemat down to just the stenciled word, round corners and adhere to patterned paper.
4. Die cut branch from brown cardstock and adhere to card.
5. Adhere owl Pea Pod Part with dimensional tape and enamel stars letters with Tombo.

Welcome, Stamp Fanatics!

Today's card may have been the easiest card to make on record because it involves nothing but pre-made doo-dads and a little glue. (Even with all my glue issues, I managed to handle this one without any catastrophes - which is saying something). And cleaning up was a snap (always a bonus)!

The little owls are printed right on the paper, for crying out loud!!! Easy-peasy, good'n'cheesy...!

Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned Paper: Owloween Stew 6" x 6"; Embellishments: enamel stars, googlie eyes (Darice); Pea Pod Parts (die-cuts): Owloween Stew; Adhesives: foam dimensional adhesive, Tombo Multi-Glue; Tools: paper cutter, scoreboard, bone folder   

I  N  S  T  R  U  C  T  I  O  N  S

1. Make orange card base for a 4.25” x 5.5” card.
2. Cut patterned paper (of owls in tree) to a 4" x 5.25" panel.
3. Cut a purple cardstock matte 1/16" larger on all sides for the patterned paper panel.
4. Adhere PP panel to purple mat and then to card base.
5. Adhere enamel stars, orange photo corners from Pea Pod Parts and googlie eyes.
6. Adhere "Freaky" with foam dimensional adhesive.

Hiya, Stamp Friends!

I hope y'all don't get visual whiplash from all the jumping back and forth between holiday cards that happens about this time of year - lol!

I made today's card for Hampton Art and it uses more of the new goodies from Jillibean Soup and is a quick and easy card for the time-pressured cardmakers out there.

1. Make green card base for a 4.25” x 5.5” card.
2. Cut a 3" x 5.5" panel of star patterned paper from Owloween Stew and adhere to card base; round bottom corners of card.
3. Cut a 5/8" x 5.5" panel of striped patterned paper from Witches Brew and adhere over top edge of star patterned paper.
4. Adhere alphabet letters with Tombo.
5. Adhere cat from Pea Pod Parts with foam dimensional adhesive.
