Now, as happy as I am for your two winners, I have to admit I feel like I'm the big winner here. I had a terrific time as a WAD guest co-host, and I am overwhelmed by the massive outpouring of enthusiasm and support I received from everyone.

The word "dumbstruck" comes to mind....

I want to thank everyone who left a comment on the Hero Arts blog, the Hero Arts Flickr group, and/or here, and/or those who sent me an email. Y'all are the best! I've had a bunch of people asking me when I'm going to start doing some video demos and/or card/page blueprints. I'm working on it and am hoping to have something going before the end of the month. (It's a little more time-consuming than one might imagine - at least that's been my experience thus far.)

Gigi's birthday party is on Saturday, and her grandmother will be here, so I'm going to be quite busy for the rest of the week. BUT! Getting a working solution to videoing from overhead is my top priority after I'm done throwing this birthday bash and cleaning my house. (You can literally eat off my mother's floors, so you can see the pressure I'm under!!!)

Time to go attack that huge pile of paper over in the corner.... sigh.....

I need a wife.

All of us had a really wonderful time working with the Hero Arts team, and they were so generous. In addition to the amazing amounts of stamps we were allowed to choose, we were also given ink, embellishments, cards, and an apron. I think I speak for us all when I say that it was like landing in Stamping Nirvana. And I had such a wonderful time getting to know Jennifer McGuire! So often when you meet a celebrity, the person is a disappointment, but not she! Very sweet and giving - I highly recommend her as a creative partner and all-around muse. Don't you just love the cards she made for our day? She's amazing!

I want to spread some of the wealth! Please leave a comment here OR on this week's Wednesday Wonder post by 12:00 p.m. EST, Saturday, February 28, 2009, and I'll do a drawing. Love your cards, Kelly!!! I especially like the houndstooth pattern underneath the owl's shirt. And how did you do those scallops on the shoe cards? Very cool! And don't you just love what Sally did by flipping the card inside out? More coolness.
