I haven't done a Blog Bacon post in awhile, and it's way overdue!
I stumbled across a band called Lake Street Dive on YouTube and immediately fell in love. They filmed this live performance video in a Boston neighborhood. It's Pure D Magic.
Check it out on the YouTube site for the big screen effect. I predict something great in Lake Street Dive's future.
I found a fabulous pair of musicians this past week! I got to them by way of YouTube > Pininterest > blog . YouTube (full circle - lol)!
They are called Glass Duo, and I am so impressed with their innovative use of water glasses - I mean, this reflects a level of commitment that amazes me. They have CD's and a YouTube channel if you want to listen to more of their magic!
Is it my imagination, or are Thursdays sort of turning into Fun With Videos Day? (Anybody remember the original Mickey Mouse Club? Thursday was Circus Day - so I think I'm sort of keeping with that tradition.)
Anyway, check out the guy in today's video.
I have a few questions for him... like...
How many decks of cards did this take?
Did he buy these cards or were these decks donated?
And, finally, is he playing with a full deck?
('Cause it's hard to imagine investing that kind of time in something so tedious AND that requires 423 decks of cards.)
